Stupid relocation issues, but nonetheless successful.
It's probably just as well the clubhouse folks screwed up, the party stayed going strong until 3 a.m., and they would have thrown us out until ten.

I think, all told, we had about 16 people there, and much socializing was had by all. Garrett's now not only coming in from Pittsburgh, but is once again bringing carpoolers with him. Molly was busy with class stuff, but Garrett's friend Christian may be taking the new Aegis every-other-weekend Basic Swordsmanship class.

Very fun, but if I'm going back to hosting on a regular basis, I definitely need to go back to the aggressive food provision plan. Watching people scrounge late in the party and come up without much of anything substantial just made me uncomfortable.

It was a decent enough party. I think you just need to coordinate with folks about food. I could have brough more than soda, but I was planning for a party that ended at 10pm and then would be relocating to a restaurant.

Heh. Good reminder, they screwed up more than my location plan when they gave away my space. Right.

I must figure out how to make it to one of these.

As my shit-togetherness steadily returns to normal levels, they should be announced with enough lead time to make that a bit more likely. (:

Pretty well. This past week had an unscheduled trip to the vet for a sick cat, my laptop hard drive dying on wednesday, and the car developing an oil leak, which collectively meant I'm not driving up to visit my sister over thanksgiving. Still, all three are more or less under control now.

The laptop had the most fallout for me personally. I'm still getting used to Gnome. (I'm not a fan of it but kde 3 is a dead end and kde 4 is an abomination. I need to find a new email client, but I'm using Kmail under gnome for the moment.)
