False alarm, probably.

Doctor didn't immediately look at the bruising and say "that doens't look normal". They're going to look at my platelets to see if anything is odd about them, and get back to me tomorrow. But odds are good that I'm just getting twitchy.

On a positive note, this misfire has helped me make my peace with having the surgery. If I don't remove the cancer, odds are that is is *going* to travel. I may actively not want surgery. But I actively don't want any other kind of cancer even more.
